Daydream or Nightmare, 2.0

An updated revisit of a 2018 service: five years later, there is much to add. Inspired by the Japanese proverb, “Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.” Rev. Sarah and CUF members share possibilities for marrying vision and action in our struggles for social justice. (Services are in person and on Zoom.)

Exploring Our Vision

What do we envision for CUF? How does our Vision Statement resonate with each of us, and with us as a community? We’ll explore this together in this interactive Sunday service. Music by Terri Sullivan. (Services are in person and on Zoom.)

Principles and Values

Whether we are new or long-time UUs, a perennial question we grapple with is how best to explain Unitarian Universalism to ourselves and the world. Emeritus Minister Rev. Bill Sasso and Rev. Sarah discuss how UUs have described their vision of our living tradition up to today. Music by CUF Choir and Jackie Masei. (Services are in person and on Zoom.)

Our Vision is to be …

In this Generosity Sunday Service, we focus on our Fellowship’s Vision Statement, an expression of our aspirations and intentions. It can be a powerful, inspirational guide for our congregational life; it can be an empty promise. How can we put “feet to our dreams” – commit to move closer to our vision in the year to come? (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)
