After attending services for a time and participating in congregational events or groups, you may want to deepen your commitment and support of the Fellowship by becoming a member. Becoming a member is a three-step process:

• Learn more about CUF and Unitarian-Universalism by attending Starting Point sessions or meeting with a Board member or minister.
• Agree to uphold CUF’s Covenant which outlines how we want to relate to each other.
• Make a financial commitment to CUF through an annual pledge.
• Sign the membership book.

Member Benefits 

• Gives you a vote at congregational meetings and a role in our governance.
• Opens up opportunities to serve in leadership within the Fellowship.
• Provides you with a subscription to the UUA magazine, UU World, which is published 4 times per year.
• Gives you bragging rights to say you are a member of this GREAT community.

Member Responsibilities

• Commit your time and talents to the mission and sustainability of this community.
• Pledge your financial resources annually to support the work of the Fellowship. Your pledge tells us in advance how much money you plan to donate.  Pledges are used to develop the annual budget and contribute to the fiscal stability of our congregation.
• Accompany each other on the journey of personal development and help each other to go deeper and be more truly human.
• Show respect to all individuals and strive to create a world where all are treated with love and dignity. Ackowledge that all people have strengths and wisdom and are able to contribute to our faith community.
• Support our faith through service and the pursuit of justice in the wider world.
• Give each other grace when we fall short in these commitments and begin anew as we value each other and this Fellowship.
