Topic: Transformation

TransEaster

March 31 is the International Transgender Day of Visibility, as well as the holiest day of the Christian calendar. The CUF LGBTQ+ Welcoming Congregation Team explores the common spiritual themes of vulnerability, rebirth, and hope in these two days of observance. Music by Jennifer Davolt and Curt Wilson. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Generosity Sunday

How have you personally been transformed by others’ generosity? How has your own generosity to others transformed you? Rev. Sarah leads this service celebrating the reciprocal connections between the CUF congregation and the individuals who make it up. Music by the CUF choir and Curt Wilson. We hope you’ll stay for the Spring Frolic after the service! (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Green Transformation

We’re going green for St. Patrick’s Day! Wear your green and join us as members of CUF’s Green Team share the transformation they experience through interaction with nature, and what they are doing locally and statewide to heal our natural environment. Music by Candy Davis. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Music Transforms Us

Our first Music Sunday in years will demonstrate the power of music to change our bodies and spirits. The CUF Choir, Warren Bush, Elana Floyd-Kennett and Curt Wilson will lead the service with Rev. Sarah. This is a multigenerational service – children over four will join in the fun. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Matin: the Gift of Transformation

Traditionally, a “matin” is a service of song and prayer. It has also been used to refer to the morning song of birds. Our version of a matin is a service of music, reflection, and blessings. Join us for meditations and music on “The Gift of Transformation,” our theme for March. Music by Elana Floyd-Kennett and by the CUF choir, Michael Thompson, Director. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)
