Burning Bowl

Join us for our annual Burning Bowl Ceremony! We will reflect on what we would like to let go of or leave behind as we move into a new year. This service will be intergenerational, and filled with music and meditation. Our musician that morning, Curt Wilson, will share his beautiful, thoughtful music with us. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Christmas Eve: Birth, Light, and Peace (6 pm only)

We celebrate Christmas with candlelight, carols, and story at this special family-friendly evening service. There will be room in the inn – and the internet – for all! Music by Ginivra Stace (cello), Joe Palermo (guitar), and Stephanie Reece (vocal). Special appearance by the Hughes sisters (Emily, Eleanor, Esther). (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Yuletide Cheer

Join us in this multigenerational service to celebrate and explore the magic and mystery of Yule traditions, the Winter Solstice and the turning of the Wheel of the Year with music, readings, bringing of the green and the Yule log! Music by Elana Floyd-Kennett and the CUF choir, Michael Thompson, Director. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Ho-Hum Holidays

This time of year is not so fa-la-la for those who have had a recent loss or are lonely. How might we care for ourselves and each other when seasonal depression comes home for the holidays? Rev. Sarah and Pastoral Friends lead this service to build connection and calm amidst chaos. Music by Dorothy and Kent McDaniel. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Matin: The Gift of Mystery

Traditionally, a “matin” is a service of song and prayer. It has also been used to refer to the morning song of birds. Our version of a matin is a service of music, reflection, and blessings. Join us for meditations and music on The Gift of Mystery, our theme for December. Music by Pat York. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)
