Topic: Liberating Love

Love in Public

How does our commitment to love, especially liberating love, inspire our actions in the public sphere, including our participation in democracy? Hear from Rev. Bill Sasso and others from our Vote Love team, about what they are working on and what actions you can take to express love publicly. Music by Maki Ito Pardieck. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

456 Year Anniversary

On February 18, 1568, Unitarian King Sigismund of Transylvania issued the Edict of Torda, proclaiming religious freedom in the kingdom. How is this moment in European history relevant to American Unitarian Universalists today? Music by the CUF Choir, Michael Thompson, Director. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Love at the Center

As Unitarian Universalists, we strive to live our values including justice, equity, and interdependence – we are a people of “deeds, not creeds.” Yet it is not only what we do, but how we do it that matters. Rev. Sarah and CUF folks look at how love figures in our efforts to change the world. Music by Pat York. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)

Matin: The Gift of Liberating Love

Traditionally, a “matin” is a service of song and prayer. It has also been used to refer to the morning song of birds. Our version of a matin is a service of music, reflection, and blessings. Join us for meditations and music on “The Gift of Liberating Love,” our theme for February. Music by Elisa & Dan Hummer, and the CUF choir. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.)
