In the spirit of holding history, we’ll welcome a voice from the past. Eli Gilbert was born in 1789, and travelled down the Ohio River with his family to settle in rural Jefferson County, Illinois. Bill Sasso will “channel” Eli, sharing his story and relating typical experiences of frontier Universalists who arrived in this region during the early 19th century.
