Our lives depend on animals. They can inspire our sense of wonder, hold the ecosystem in balance, and bring comfort and companionship to our days. Inspired by the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi (1182-1226), we will celebrate a blessing of the animals we admire. Please feel free to bring your beloved pets (on leashes or in carriers) or bring pictures of the animals you love. Children and youth will have a special role in this multi-generational celebration.
