Following a congregational vote the following projects are moving forward:
$19,780 has been set aside in the Building Maintenance Fund for Heating and Air Conditioning updates.
$15,000 is being used to make much needed improvements to our A/V Equipment.
Creation of a single-occupancy “Safe Space Bathroom” is on its way.
$9,800 has been added to the Long Term Maintenance Fund for the roof replacement. This will be added the the $81,000+ that was raised to pay for the roof replacement which was completed last week. Come see our beautiful new roof.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this selection process. You are all a part of these improvements and a special thanks to Lois Hayward and Bill Rose for creating these opportunities.
Update on Progress for Improvements—
The new roof was installed at the end of May and looks beautiful and came in at a lower price than expected. The A/V upgrades have been made resulting in better sound and no more moving of the cameras. The bathroom renovation is still being planned.
On October 13 the Congregation voted to move forward on roof-installed solar panels using money designated from the Rose-Hayward money and adding funds from the Endowment Fund. The action was taken now to take advantage of state and federal incentive rebates.
