As our youth move into middle school and high school, they gradually become more self-directed. They have a say in what they explore together, and they plan their own field trips and social justice campaigns. The high school class plans and conducts a Sunday service together on a topic of their choosing. We celebrate graduations by having the parents of eighth grade graduates offer their reflections, and by having high school graduates speak about their own experiences.
