After attending services for a time and participating in congregational events or groups, you may want to deepen your commitment and support of the Fellowship by becoming a member. Becoming a member is a three-step process:

  • Learn more about CUF and Unitarian-Universalism by attending Starting Point sessions or meeting with a Board member.
  • Make a financial commitment to CUF through an annual pledge.
  • Sign the membership book.

Member Benefits

  • Gives you a vote at congregational meetings and a role in our governance.
  • Opens up opportunities to serve in leadership within the Fellowship.
  • Provides you with a subscription to the UUA magazine, UU World, which is published 4 times per year.
  • Gives you bragging rights to say you are a member of this GREAT community.

Member Responsibilities

  • Show up and participate.
  • Commit our time and talents to the mission and sustainability of this community.
  • Invest financial resources annually to support the work of the Fellowship.
  • Accompany each other on the journey of personal development and help each other to go deeper and be more truly human.
  • Trust one another enough to speak what is in our hearts, even if we know others may disagree.
  • Hear each other with love and respect.
  • Forgive each other when we fall short in these commitments and begin anew as we value each other and this Fellowship.
  • Pledge your financial support annually.  Your pledge tells us in advance how much money you plan to donate over the next year.  Member pledges add greatly to the congregation’s fiscal stability and are the basis for the congregation’s budget and all operating decisions.

If you are interested in becoming a member, contact any member of the Board of Trustees or complete this form.
