Become a CUF Member
After attending services for a time and participating in congregational events or groups, you may want to deepen your commitment and support of the Fellowship by becoming a member. Becoming a member is a three-step process:
- Learn more about CUF and Unitarian-Universalism by attending Starting Point sessions or meeting with the minister or a Board member.
- Make a financial commitment to CUF through an annual pledge.
- Sign the membership book.
Member Benefits
- Gives you a vote at congregational meetings and a role in our governance.
- Opens up opportunities to serve in leadership within the Fellowship.
- Provides you with a subscription to the UUA magazine, UU World, which is published 4 times per year.
- Gives you bragging rights to say you are a member of this GREAT community.
Member Responsibilities
- Be informed about Fellowship activities. Read the weekly Bulletin, keep up on what is happening within the Fellowship and join in as your interests and time allow.
- Join us at Sunday Services for our weekly celebration of this community and our connections.
- Contribute time and talents to the greater good. There are many opportunities to assist with social action projects, as well as contributing to the health and function of the Fellowship. We will help you find activities that are fulfilling to you.
- Pledge your financial support annually. Your pledge tells us in advance how much money you plan to donate over the next year. Member pledges add greatly to the congregation’s fiscal stability and are the basis for the congregation’s budget and all operating decisions.
If you are interested in becoming a member, contact the minister or any member of the Board of Trustees or complete this form.
