Using our Values to Create our Future

Who do we want to be, and what do we want to accomplish as a faith community in the next five years? Using the new UUA statement of values as a frame, members of the Strategic Planning Team will explain how the plan developed, and invite our input for its completion. Music by Warren Bush. (Services are in-person and on Zoom.) (Graphic by Tanya Webster.)

Climate Positivity

When thinking about current and future impacts of climate change, many of us cycle between anxiety born of fear and apathy born of helplessness. Rev. Sarah leads this service about ways we can break the cycle, moving to hope born of collective action. Music by Maki Ito Pardieck. (Services are in-person and via Zoom.)

Black Maternal Health

The Reproductive Justice Group has invited Chastity Mays to speak about Black Maternal Health as part of our year-long social justice focus on reproductive health. The reproductive health of black mothers and babies, their higher risk of complications, and a history of forced sterilizations are a few of the issues faced by black women even in current times. Music by CUF Choir, Laura Van Abbema and Colleen Springer-Lopez. (Services are in-person and via Zoom.)
