Join us for our annual Flower Communion, a cherished annual service of many Unitarian churches.
The Flower Communion, sometimes referred to as Flower Celebration or Flower Festival, is an annual ritual over 100 years old that celebrates beauty, human uniqueness, diversity, and community.
This Sunday, everyone brings a flower, from your garden, the roadside or somewhere else. Each person places a flower on the altar or in a shared vases. The congregation blesses the flowers, and they’re redistributed by the youth. Each person brings home a different flower than the one they brought.
