Welcome to the CUF Community!

The Carbondale Unitarian Fellowship

A member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

"We hope that this short introduction to CUF online will intrigue you enough to consider joining us on a Sunday morning!"

The Carbondale Unitarian Fellowship is a place where culturally and ethnically diverse people can come together in an atmosphere of respect for spiritual growth and intellectual stimulation based on liberal religious values.

We are an intergenerational community where both children and adults find opportunities to have fun, develop friendships, participate in community service, and provide and receive support in times of need.

In addition to our Sunday services each week, our congregation enjoys spending time together in discussion groups, social justice gatherings, and opportunities for spiritual exploration.

We have a vibrant religious education program for children and youth on Sunday mornings, led by our Director of Religious Education, Roy Sumner.

Our choir, which always welcomes new members, performs frequently and is supported by our dedicated choir director, Carrie Vine, and our talented pianists, Kira Browning, Joy Price, Geri McKee and Alan Christensen.

Whatever your race, economic status, gender, or affectional orientation, you are welcome to join our community.
