"We hope that this short introduction to CUF online will intrigue you enough to consider joining us on a Sunday morning!"

The Carbondale Unitarian Fellowship is a place where culturally and ethnically diverse people can come together in an atmosphere of respect for spiritual growth and intellectual stimulation based on liberal religious values.

We are an intergenerational community where both children and adults find opportunities to have fun, develop friendships, participate in community service, and provide and receive support in times of need.

In addition to our Sunday services each week, our congregation enjoys spending time together in discussion groups, social justice gatherings, and opportunities for spiritual exploration.

We have a vibrant religious education program for children and youth on Sunday mornings, led by our Religious Education Coordinator, Connie Payne.

Our choir, which always welcomes new members, is directed by Stephanie Reece, the Ed Phillips Memorial Artist in Residence. Our talented pianists, Joy Price and Maki Ito Pardieck, and organist Lawrence Dennis provide outstanding service music and accompaniment.

Whatever your race, economic status, gender, or affectional orientation, you are welcome to join our community.
